Personalised anniversary gifts
The best gift for an anniversary
Have your parents been married for nearly 50 years? Or has your colleague been employed for almost 10 years? Then this should definitely be celebrated! Anniversaries are great moments to celebrate together and look back on the past years. Do you have an anniversary to celebrate soon? Then naturally this calls for a personal gift. Giving a personalised anniversary present is a great way to make this moment extra special.
If you've been married for 5, 10 or 25 years, this is a reason to celebrate! At 5 years, you celebrate your wood anniversary. At 10 years, it's your tin anniversary, 25 years is the silver wedding and 50 years is your golden wedding. Naturally you'll want to buy something special for your parents, friends or acquaintances on those days. The most popular present is a photo album with photos of the previous years, but personally we also think champagne glasses with names engraved on them are a lovely gift to give and receive. Especially if they're accompanied by a nice bottle of champagne with a picture of the couple on it. You can have their original wedding photo printed on the label and add a personalised message. Do you have your own wedding anniversary to celebrate? Surprise your wife with a beautiful canvas with your best photo on it.
If your colleague has been employed for 5, 7.5, 10 or 12.5 years, this is of course something to take note of. How great would it be to surprise that colleague with a personalised t-shirt with the most embarrassing photo from that one office party? If you want to keep it a bit more serious, you could of course also print a nice mug with funny text. If your colleague has a real sweet tooth, then we're sure you'll score points with a personalised tin of sweets or a Milka gift box. Is your colleague usually first in line at the bar for Friday afternoon drinks or at company parties? Surprise him or her with a beer mug or wine glass with their own name on it.
If the whole company should know about it
Looking for something more striking? Then order a road sign with personalised text and number and hang it prominently near the happy colleague. This is also a great idea if your colleague has turned 30, 40 or 50 years old.
What you can do as an employer
Has your employer given you the responsibility of anniversaries? Then you have an important task. For many people, it is quite a special moment when they have been employed at a company for 5 or 7.5 years. And so they appreciate it if you as an employer are also aware of it. You don't instantly have to splash out on an expensive dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant. A bottle of champagne with your logo, the name of the person celebrating and a photo will be greatly appreciated by many employees.
It's the thought that counts!
A little gift doesn't have to be expensive at all - for many people, it's the gesture that is more important. It's important to people that their colleagues know they are celebrating an anniversary.
