About this wine
Bodegas Salentein has a special history. It was founded in 1992 by the Dutch entrepreneur Mijndert Pon (who became rich and famous dealing in Volkswagen automobiles). He decided to set up a vineyard high-up on one of the outer mountain ranges of the Andes.

The bodega itself, designed by the famous architect Mario Day Arenas, is special as well. It is constructed in the shape of a cross, were the wooden wine barrels are stored 8 metres under the ground, in order that the wine can ripen under the most ideal circumstances.

The vineyards are situated in the heart of the Alto Valle de Uco, at a height of more than 1200 metres. De soil is rocky and this keeps the land well drained. The nights are cool due to the mountain air descending from the Andes, the days are sunny and warm. Height, cool nights and warm sunny days give this wine a strong character. Can both the wooden box and the glasses be engraved in the wine set?

Yes. The wooden box can be engraved on the sliding lid, and you can also have the glasses engraved by adding them separately. Only white wine glasses of 37 cl fit in the wine box, not red or crystal glasses. The engraved glasses and the wine in the box are delivered together in one package, but not placed inside the box beforehand.

Can I have two different designs on the two glasses in the wine set?

If you choose the option with personalised glasses, your design is automatically applied to both glasses, but if you want two different designs, you can purchase the items separately and add them to the cart. They will be shipped together in one order.

Can I order this wine set with only one engraved glass instead of two?

No. This gift set is only offered with two engraved glasses but you can order separately a wine set and a glass, if you wish.

How do I know if my picture has the right quality?

We want to make sure you are completely happy with your gift. That's why it's important to use high-quality photos.
